  • Performers for the Legacy Gala 2026- Sign Up by March 5th


    Dear Friends,

    We are now inviting group performance submissions for the upcoming Legacy Gala-  50 Golden Years, Where Heritage Meets the New Year Dawn taking place on Saturday May 9th 2026 at Blu Legacy Convention Centre. This special evening celebrates Sinhala and Tamil New Year as well as the 50th anniversary of SLCAO and we’re excited to showcase performances that reflect the energy and diversity of our community. Due to limited program time, performances must be group-based and no longer than 5-6 minutes in length.

    If your group would like to participate, please submit your performance details early, as spots are limited. We encourage cultural dance, music, drama, and creative performances that celebrate our heritage and community spirit.

    Kindly fill the form below with your item name, description, length of time and name of artist/song, group name if applicable and teacher if applicable. Please send these details by March 5th, 2026.

    We are currently seeking volunteers to help make this event a success. If you wish to participate as a volunteer on a committee please reach out to ec@slcaottawa.com.Areas available would be marketing/fundraising, event coordination, cultural show, decorating and more.
