Urgent Appeal for Contributions for Disaster Relief in Sri Lanka<\/strong><\/p>\n

As many of you are aware, Sri Lanka is facing a severe humanitarian crisis following the devastating landslides and flooding caused by Cyclone Ditwah. Hundreds of lives have been lost, more than half a million people have been affected nationwide, and the numbers continue to rise.<\/p>\n

In response to this tragedy, volunteers from the Sri Lankan community in Ottawa, SLCAO, and numerous faith-based and community organizations have come together in solidarity to collect funds from all Canadians to support those affected.<\/p>\n

The Government of Sri Lanka has established a special account to receive disaster-relief contributions. We kindly request your support through the official GoFundMe account created for this emergency.<\/p>\n
