Here is a great opportunity to reach out to the Canadian Sri Lankans not just in Ottawa, but also in all of Canada. Sri Lanka Canada Association or Ottawa (SLCAO) is organizing an event with national coverage and you are invited to be a part of it. The event will be live telecasted as well as recorded and broadcasted to Sri Lankan and Canadian media for maximum exposure.
In the past, SLCAO has organized its main event as the “Sinhalese and Tamil New Year Event” and it had attracted around 300-350 guests. This year, we hope to amalgamate the Sinhalese and Tamil New Year event with the “Sinhalese Heritage Day” at the Parliament of Canada on the 27th of April from 2pm-5pm (take 144 Wellington street entrance to Sir John A McDonald Ceremonial Hall). We expect around 500-600 possibly more.
As you know there are costs associated with organizing this event, design and printing souvenir, hall decorations, complimentary food, and parliamentary security costs. Therefore we are going to print a commemorative souvenir to raise funds. Please consider the following rates for a souvenir. All rates include shipping and handling for your address. No PO Box addresses, please. All payments to be made by cheque addressed to Sri Lanka Canada Association of Ottawa. Mailed to PO Box 83006, 1180 Walkley Road, Ottawa, ON K1V 7Y0 before the 1st of April 2019. Please email us to confirm that you sent the payment.
In addition to the souvenir, you can choose if you want them to be displayed in the back of stage during presentation and in the website for a full year for an additional $100 for qualifying ad sizes as indicated below.
- Front back left $900 – on a first come first serve basis *
- Front back right (first page) $500 – on a first come first serve basis*
- Inner back left $500 – taken*
- Inner back right $700 – on a first come first serve basis*
- Outer back cover $900 – on a first come first serve basis*
- Full page commercials: $350**
- Half page commercials: $200***
- Half page messages from organizations/individuals $100***

All invitation confirmations to be received before 25th April 2pm. All advertisement graphics to be received on or before the April 1st 2019. If you send your advertisement graphic on or before the 15th of March 2019. Please allow for a 10% deduction from the posted rates.
